As Senior Policy Counsel, Nicklas Lundblad heads up the Mountain View-team for public policy at Google. He has been with Google since 2007. He holds a PhD in in applied information technology from Gothenburg University, a Swedish LLM from Stockholm University and a Bachelors' in Philosophy as well. He is a member of the Royal Engineering Academy in Sweden, and has served as advisor to the Swedish government for many years and advised the European Commission as well (through the so-called e-Europe Advisory Group).
Research interests include the philosophy of law (specifically privacy, copyright and free expression), game theory and computer game studies.
